Nexum Campaigns: Email Drip Sequences With Built-In Suppression
Campaigns sends one email or a timed series to an audience pulled from the CRM, using branded templates and automatic suppression.
Email works when it reaches the right people, says the right thing and respects the people who said no.
Summary
Campaigns sends email campaigns and drip sequences using templates from the shared library.
It always excludes disputed, bankrupt, cease-and-desist, do-not-call, deceased and litigious accounts, invalid emails and the do-not-email list.
It tracks opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes.
Key takeaways
Build and review email templates before creating a campaign.
Connect an email provider in Service Credentials first.
Watch bounces and unsubscribes as closely as opens.
What Campaigns does
Campaigns is Nexum's email outreach tool. It sends a single email or a drip sequence, a series where each email goes out a set number of days after the one before. It picks the audience from the CRM, uses your branded email templates, keeps a list of people who must never be emailed, and tracks opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes.
Before you start
You'll need:
- Email templates built in Templates. A campaign picks a template for every email in the series.
- An email provider connected by a super admin in Settings → Service Credentials. If none is connected, Campaigns shows a yellow note and you can't send.
- The CRM and Templates modules installed. If anything is missing, Campaigns tells you what.
Who is never emailed
Campaigns always leaves out:
- Accounts with disputes, bankruptcy, cease-and-desist, do-not-call, deceased or litigious status.
- Invalid email addresses.
- Anyone on the do-not-email list.
- Anyone already in another running campaign.
Those rules apply automatically, so a campaign can't accidentally reach someone who must not be contacted.
Building a campaign
- Choose the audience from CRM filters (client, status, balance and so on).
- Choose the template for each email in the series and the days between them.
- Review the audience count after suppression.
- Launch.
Watching and controlling a campaign
Click a campaign to see its status and results. Use the buttons at the bottom to:
- Edit emails and schedule and save changes.
- Pause and resume.
- Cancel to stop it for good.
What to measure
- Deliverability: bounces and invalid addresses point to data quality.
- Engagement: opens and clicks.
- Unsubscribes: a signal about frequency or content.
- Outcomes: portal visits, payments and callbacks from campaign recipients.
Coordinate with other channels
Campaigns works best as part of a sequence with voicemail and text, all posting to the same account history. See one contact strategy across SMS, email and voice.
Content and compliance
Have email templates reviewed for required disclosures and accuracy, and keep the legal disclosure and footer current in Templates. Email is still communication about a debt.
Why it matters
Email is low-cost and consumer-friendly when it's targeted and suppressed correctly. Campaigns makes the right audience and the right exclusions the default.
