Contact & Conversion
One Contact Strategy Across SMS, Email and Voice
Three channels that know about each other beat six that don't. Nexum runs voicemail, text and email from one account and one rulebook.

Summary
Adding channels without coordination creates over-contact, mixed messages and blind spots.
One strategy means shared rules, shared templates, one account history and adaptive sequences.
Nexum's SilentReach, Nudge and Campaigns share all four.
Key takeaways
Apply the same exclusions and limits across every channel.
Change the next touch based on the last response.

The channel-count trap
Consumers don't experience channels; they experience your agency. A voicemail, a text and an email in the same hour, each saying something slightly different, isn't omnichannel. It's noise.
What one strategy looks like
One set of eligibility rules. Cease-and-desist, bankruptcy, attorney representation, disputes, deceased, litigation, call-time windows and frequency limits apply to every channel, from the same data.
One template library. Approved messages with consistent branding and disclosures, so every channel says the same thing in its own format.
One account history. Every voicemail, text, email, call and letter posts to the same record.
One sequence logic. The next touch depends on what happened with the last one.
Designing sequences
A sequence is a planned order of touches with rules for adapting. For example:
- Email with account details and a portal link.
- Ringless voicemail inviting a callback, two days later.
- Text with a secure payment link, for eligible mobile numbers.
- Collector call for high-priority accounts that haven't responded.
Then adapt:
- Callback received: pause automated touches; collector follows up.
- Payment made: stop the sequence.
- STOP reply: suppress texting immediately, everywhere.
- Dispute logged: suppress all outreach and route to dispute handling.
- No response: move to a lower-cost cadence, or to contact-data repair.
Respect frequency across channels
Frequency limits should count all relevant attempts together. Separate counters in separate tools make it easy to exceed your own policy.
Measure per channel and per sequence
- Cost per qualified callback by channel.
- Response rate by channel and by message.
- Payment conversion by sequence, not just by last touch. See which channel actually produced the payment.
How Nexum coordinates it
SilentReach, Nudge and Campaigns all build audiences from the CRM, pull messages from the shared Templates library, screen recipients for the same exclusions and weekly limits at build and send, and post every contact to the Comm Log. Collectors see the whole sequence before they dial.
The bottom line
Before adding another channel, connect the ones you have. Nexum does it by design. See which channel produced the payment.
