Nexum Platform Guides
Getting Started in the Nexum Portal: Sign-In, Two-Factor and the Menu
How staff sign in, use two-factor verification and the time clock, and find their way around the Nexum menu.
Two minutes of setup protects every account you'll ever open.
Summary
Staff sign in with a password and, where enabled, a six-digit code from an authenticator app.
If the agency uses the time clock, staff clock in before any tools appear and are clocked out automatically at day's end.
The side menu groups tools into sections and remembers which ones you opened.
Key takeaways
Set up two-factor sign-in on day one.
Clock out before leaving, or the system will do it at the set time.
Use Settings at the bottom of the menu for your own preferences.
Signing in
Staff sign in to the Nexum portal with their email and password. If two-factor sign-in is enabled for the account, a Two-Factor Verification screen appears: type the six-digit code from your authenticator app.
Two-factor sign-in asks for a code from an app on your phone each time you sign in. It protects your account if someone learns your password. See what two-factor authentication does for a CRM.
The time clock
If your agency uses the time clock, you see a Clock in screen first and nothing else until you click Clock in. That keeps work tools tied to working hours.
You're clocked out automatically at the end-of-day time shown on that screen. A few minutes before, a window says Time to clock out with a countdown; click Clock out now to finish. To clock out earlier, click Clock out in the menu and confirm. Clocking out signs you out for the day.
Admins configure the time clock in User Management.
The menu
The side menu groups your tools into sections. Click a section's name or arrow to open or close it; the portal remembers which sections you opened. The menu shows only the modules your agency has installed and that you've been given access to, so two people may see different menus.
At the bottom you'll find Settings, User Management and Token Monitor if your role allows them, and Sign Out.
Your own settings
Open Settings at the bottom of the menu to manage your own preferences. Super admins and owners see an additional Agency Administration section; see Service Credentials and portal settings.
Learning the rest
New collectors should start with My Desk and the Accounts screen. The Training Desk has courses, manuals and an AI Teacher that answers "how do I" questions in English or Spanish.
Tips for day one
- Install an authenticator app before your first sign-in.
- Learn where Log Result and + Task are.
- Read the warning bars; they're there to protect you.
- Ask the Teacher before guessing.
Why it matters
Strong sign-in and a clear menu are the first layer of a secure, efficient operation. Getting them right on day one avoids most problems later.
