Digital Outreach Must Carry Consent and Context
Every text, email and voicemail should carry the account's whole story, including the parts that say "don't." Nexum makes sure it does.
Every message should carry the account's whole story, including the parts that say "don't."
Summary
Digital outreach scales fast, and so do mistakes.
Consent, opt-outs, restrictions, preferences, frequency and account state must travel with every message.
Nexum's channels read the CRM account and re-screen at send time.
Key takeaways
Store consent and preferences on the account, not in each tool.
Re-check eligibility at send time.

Digital scale, digital risk
A list built Monday morning can be wrong by Monday afternoon: a dispute, an attorney call, a STOP reply, a bankruptcy notice.
What must travel with each message
Consent and permission for the channel and number type, as required for that channel.
Opt-outs such as STOP replies and unsubscribes, honored across every campaign and channel.
Restrictions: cease-and-desist, bankruptcy, attorney representation, dispute, deceased, litigation.
Preferences: preferred channel, language and times, where the consumer has expressed them.
Frequency: recent contacts across all channels, so limits are respected.
Location and time: the consumer's local time for contact windows.
Account state: recently paid, on a plan, settled or closed.
The separate-tools problem
When the texting platform, the email tool and the voicemail provider each keep their own lists, they drift. A STOP reply in the texting tool doesn't reach the email tool. A dispute in the CRM doesn't reach any of them. The fix is to keep consent, preferences and restrictions on the account and have every channel read from it.
Check at send time
Screen recipients when the audience is built and again at the moment of sending. The second check catches changes in between.
Record everything
Every message sent, delivered, failed and replied to should post to the account history, so the next person (or system) knows what happened.
How Nexum carries context
SilentReach, Nudge and Campaigns build audiences from the CRM account record and screen at build and at send for cease-and-desist, do-not-call, bankruptcy, deceased, litigious, disputed, litigation or judgment, expired SOL, closed statuses and weekly limits. Nudge honors STOP and excludes landlines and invalid numbers; Campaigns keeps a do-not-email list. Templates come in English and Spanish, and every contact posts to the Comm Log.
The bottom line
Digital outreach is only as safe as the context it carries. Nexum carries all of it. See one set of rules for omnichannel.
